Diane opened her farm at 142 Tannenbaum Lane in Vilas, NC, in 1994 for choose & cut. It has now become a tradition for many families to travel to the Cornett Deal Christmas Tree Choose & Cut Farm every fall to trek through the Christmas tree fields and select their own special trees to cut and bring home. Cornett & Deal offers Cut Your Own Christmas Tree In NC for your holiday traditions to continue year after year.
Be sure to visit the craft shop at the Cornett Deal Christmas Tree Farm and enjoy a cup of Diane's famous hot apple cider or a cup of hot chocolate and home baked cookies while waiting for your tree to be prepped and loaded onto your vehicle. We're one of the few farms that will shake and drill your tree before bundling it. Children of all ages enjoy watching the trees being shaken to remove any loose needles or foreign pests, and of course, the adults appreciate the mess being handled beforehand. Not too keen on setting up your tree? We can even pre-drill it for you, and have stands available for sale.
Hate to see your tree go after the holidays are over? Why not plant it in your yard? We offer balled and burlapped trees, great as landscape additions. You'll most likely want to dig the hole in late fall, before the ground freezes. Not to mention, you shouldn't leave the tree indoors too long. To enjoy the beautiful Christmas Tree your family chooses for years to come, consider this B&B tree as an option.
Cornett Deal Christmas Tree Farm adventures also include hayrides to any of the five fields of Fraser or Canaan Firs, and the craft shop featuring handmade pottery, jewelry, and knitted hats and scarves. You will find a great selection of decorated and undecorated wreaths and other greenery items here, as well. New this year, we'll be hosting a "best decorated CD tree" competition with classes for varying tree sizes, including a kid's tree for children 12 and under.
Let your holiday celebration start here. What's a tree farm without fun? Choose and cut your Christmas tree on our farm and let the tradition begin.
